- The Great Peace March for Global Nuclear Disarmament, also known as “GPM”, “The March” and “The Great Peace March” was an event in the United states held in 1986 to:
- Raise awareness of nuclear proliferation; and
- Advocate for elimination of nuclear weapons.
The GPM was hundreds of people who started walking from Los Angeles California to Washington, D.C. in February 1986.
The group arrived 15 November 1986.
